ONTARIO, Calif. Families looking for a low-cost weekend activity can visit Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park at 800 North Archibald Avenue for a free community Kite Day on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to San Bernardino County Regional Parks.
What will be provided?
The county says the event is open to all ages and will include kite-flying activities. Free kites will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so availability cannot be guaranteed for every visitor. Leashed pets are welcome. The event is hosted with the office of Second District Supervisor Jesse Armendarez.
Is registration needed?
The county describes the event as free and says early registration is strongly recommended. It points residents to a registration link and QR code in its November 5 community bulletin. Families should use the county’s current event instructions before traveling, rather than assume the normal regional-park entry rules or parking arrangements are unchanged for the activity.
Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park lists regular operating hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the time of the announcement. Since the kite event ends at 1 p.m., plan for the morning and check any weather-related schedule changes if winds or rain are forecast.
